A South Side grandmother told the Defender on Monday her 20-year-old grandson lies in a coma and continues to fight for his life after being shot six times by police in front of her residence last Monday.
Sally Kelly, of the 8400 block of South Loomis, said the weeklong nightmare her family has experienced since her grandson was shot brings a sense of bitterness towards police and say the Black community in Chicago needs to know exactly what's going on.
